OUR HISTORY

The St Arnaud & District Lawn Tennis Club has a rich heritage of competition tennis both as the hub of a district competition in the past, later as a competitor in the Kara Kara Tennis Association and now in the six town North Central Tennis Association.

It forms an integral role within the sporting life of St Arnaud, bringing social and competitive tennis to the community, and nurturing young members on the benefits of participation in a family friendly team sport.

Following a major infrastructure upgrade of facilities in 1984 with extension of the clubhouse and the establishment of an extra 6 lawn courts an Easter Tennis Tournament was re-established and, subsequently, in 1992 two synthetic courts replaced asphalt courts providing extra coaching options.
